Why I built this

Hi, I'm Donald Peteranna.

I've run my own heating business for a few years now, and the same problems kept coming back. What's in the van. What did I use on that job. Where's that receipt gone. I tried the apps. None of them worked the way the job actually works.

So I built my own. It started with one idea: scan a receipt and your stock updates itself. Once that worked, I realised how much else you could do with that information, and it grew into StockSnap.

What you're seeing here is version one. I've already got the next phase mapped out — I'm just not putting it all out there yet. What I'll say is: if you think stock management is the whole picture, it isn't. The people who get in now will see what's coming first.

StockSnap works alongside whatever you already use. It's not here to replace your invoicing software. It fills the gap none of it covers.
